South High School Fine Arts and the Mustang Bands are proud to be hosting the renowned Kagoshima Joho High School Wind Orchestra from Kagoshima, Japan from Monday, December 16 to Wednesday, December 8, 2013. The members of the band are visiting Chicago to perform at the 67th Midwest Clinic. The band will arrive on Monday the 16th and will be staying in homes of students and families from the bands at South High School. The band will rehearse at South HS during the day on Tuesday, December 17th. On the evening of the 17th, the Kagoshima Joho HS Wind Orchestra will perform at joint concert with the South High School Wind Ensemble at 7:00 PM in the auditorium at South High School. The public is cordially invited to attend this free concert, and, to experience the internationally renowned performance excellence of this ensemble.
