The 2013 Holiday Concert features the D99 Orchestra, the Combined Wind Symphony and Wind Ensemble, and the Combined Choirs from South High School. The performance is in the large gym at South High School at 7 PM on Thursday, December 13, 2013. Admission is free, and the public is cordially invited to attend.
The Winter Art Show features the 2D and 3D work of more than 500 student artists. The show opens at 6 PM on December 12, 2013 and remains in exhibition until Monday, December 16, 2013. Patrons may walk the gallery during regular business hours between 8 AM and 4 PM. Friends of Fine Arts (FOFA) will be selling packs of notecards featuring the work of student artists. There is a limited number of these notecards, so be sure and arrive early to get yours - they make great holiday gifts!
Artistic patrons are asked this year to consider supporting HESED House by bringing one or more of the items on the above poster. Collection bins will be staged in the foyer of the large gym. Thanks in advance for considering participating in this campaign.
New this year, the South High School Holiday Concert will be broadcast LIVE on the High School Cube. Having a live interactive audience makes performances pertinent for the performing student musicians, so, if you are in the area, we expect you to be in the large gym at South. However, if you have out of town relatives or friends who are unable to attend, please have them join us remotely by clicking here.
