The faculty and administration of North and South High Schools extend deep
thanks and appreciation to the 200 students of the District 99 Marching Band for
their tremendous efforts in two community parades today. Students endured
extended temperatures (Heat Index 104) as they performed musically and marched
with precision.
A special thanks is also extended to the parent
volunteers of the Mustang Band Boosters and the DGN Music Boosters for providing
hundreds of iced water bottles, as well as support along the parade routes to
ensure students were safe and all needs attended to.
Congratulations to
all for great performances today and for representing District 99, and our
communities, in such a positive manner!
