Preparations for the 2008 Music Bowl began close to 365 days ago. Today is the day for which 200 community volunteers, led by Bowl Chair Lynn Fila-Clark, have been waiting. Weather for today is fabulous - Mostly Sunny with a high of 59 degrees according to the National Weather Service web site. The morning began at 7:15 AM for the volunteers with the traditional parking lot cordoning, followed immediately by breakfast at Steven's in Downers Grove. This event represents to the highest extent what an effective partnership between a school district and the community can achieve.
