Congratulations to South High's very own Jazz Combo, the South Side Swingin' Six!!!
After a highly competitive and challenging application and audition process, the results are in. The South Side Swingin' Six will be featured at the Illinois Music Educators Conference in 2024!! This is a most prestigious honor and a testament to the hard work and dedication of these fine students. They will be featured next January as part of one of the nation's largest music education conferences, performing alongside elite jazz ensemble and musicians. We are so proud, so please be sure to congratulate them. Here they are!
