Congratulations to everyone involved as a great community event that unfolded on Saturday. Our South high student musicians sat alongside over 40 incoming freshmen on Saturday and worked as one for the love of the music and the community. Over an 8 hour day, students put together a concert made up of jazz and concert band music followed by an evening performance. More importantly this community occasion gave our students a chance to connect with each other on a higher level and to see the work they embark on every day influencing their school and community. Well done everyone. The future of DGS Fine Arts is BRIGHT!
