Earlier this week, the Downers Grove South Jazz students were fortunate enough to share space and hear instruction from Professor Ron Carter. Ron Carter is one of the most influential jazz educator of our time and of the last 60 years. At 69 years young, he dazzled with his deep knowledge of history, his engaging persona, and his influence culturally. It was a memorable experience for everyone.
The amazing Carl Allen will be visiting for rehearsal and clinics on November 4th. He will be performing as our guest artist at the April 28th Jazz concert. Mark your calendars!
