On the basis of her fall of 2018 ILMEA Festival audition, DG South junior vocalist Diana Kwak has been selected to lead the National Anthem at the IHSA Girls Volleyball State Finals. Kwak will perform the anthem twice on Friday, November 15, 2019 for State volleyball matches at Red Bird Arena on the campus of Illinois State University.
"This recognition distinguishes Diana as a stand-out amongst her peers." said department chair Glenn Williams. "We are thrilled she is able to share her vocal artistry on an All-State stage for this event."
