South High School senior artists earned over 1.3 million dollars in Scholarship offers at the recent IHSAE exhibition, which opened on Sunday, February 24, 2019. In addition to the scholarship offers, several South High artists earned citations at the awards ceremony:
- Jennifer Branch earned the top award in the Breaking Criminal Tradition Social Justice Fine Arts Award for her photograph titled "I Can't Bear It."
- Emmanuelle Copeland earned a bronze medal in the Painting category.
- Michelle Kravec earned an Early College Program Award. This scholarship is for a 2 week summer program in the arts at The Milwaukee School of Art and Design.
