Congratulations to the students and staff affiliated with the Marching Mustangs for their performance at the 2018 Victor J. Andrew Marching Band Invitational. Moving up to a very competitive Class 3A, the Marching Mustangs finished 4th overall out of 22 ensembles, showing strong improvement in General Effect and Music Ensemble. Well done Mustang Marching Band!
The evening concluded with the Illinois State University "Big Red Marching Machine" performing in exhibition, thrilling the capacity crowd of marching arts fans. We are proud of the six DGS Marching Mustang alums who are currently members of the BRMM - pictured above with ISU grad Mr. Hensel (from left to right) are Chris Gergits, Danny King, Kaitlyn Wiseman, Maria Daniele, Amy Lansdon and Zoe McGrath.
