US Army All-Americans Jake Burrows and Danny King

Congratulations to South High School seniors Jake Burrows and Danny King for being selected as  members of the 2018 US Army All-American Marching Band.  This ensemble, made up of 125 senior musicians from 47 states, will perform as part of the festivities for the 2018 US Army All-American Bowl at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas. Jake and Danny has earned an all-expense paid trip to San Antonio in January of 2018 where they will rehearse with members of the US Army Field Band and perform for an NBC Television audience of just over 2.5 million viewers.

Jake and Danny along with the rest of the Marching Mustangs were celebrated today at a Tour Selection Stop sponsored by the US Army, Bowl Games of America, and American Family Insurance.

The Marching Mustangs have had 6 US Army All-Americans in the past 6 years - congratulations on the legacy of visual and sonic excellence!  (Josiah Williams - 2013; Sam Tedeschi - 2015; Larissa Gurnic - 2016; Noah Tunney - 2017; Jake Burrows and Danny King - 2018.)
