South High School visual artists have created murals, themed around mathematics concepts and ideas, to adorn the newly refurbished math office and math resource center. Facilitated by mentor teacher Katherine O'Truk, several groups of students worked on these murals over the course of several months. Students from the Class of 2017 include Michelle Mo, Monica Baba, Stephanie Stewart and Rachel Irwin. Students from the Class of 2016 include Delilah Garcia, Patricia Walker, Kirsten Gard, Hannah Maes, Sarah Hodshire, Kristen Krajewski and Meredith Ferguson. Students involved in the design process include Tiarah Golliday (2017,) Michael Willoughby (2016 and Peyton Parker (2016.) The murals are expected to be hung in the coming weeks.
