The South High School Winter Guard had a great weekend in Walled Lake, Michigan at the WGI (Winter Guard International) regional competition. The team, took 3rd with a 65.38 in their preliminary round which qualified them for Finals. In finals the team earned 9th out of 11 finalists with a score of 66.5. The team even got a shout out from WGI on Instagram!
The coaches and staff are thrilled with this performance, which is the DGS debut on the highly competitive WGI circuit. A huge shout our to the parents and fans that came to support the team in Michigan for this inaugural performance in WGI.
