Warm sounds of the Winter Band Concert

The music of Ticheli and Turner, Mozart and Markowski, Sousa and Saucedo filled the auditorium at South High School tonight as Symphonic Band and Wind Ensemble presented their Winter Band Concert.  Featured tonight was the South High School premiere of Noche Triste by Jess Turner, a product of The Consortium for the Advancement of Wind Band Literature.  Kudos and congratulations to the student musicians in both ensembles for a fabulous performance tonight.
