The students from the South High School Wind Ensemble and Wind Symphony are practicing this evening in preparation for the 2013 Holiday Concert DGS. More than 120 strong when combined, this ensemble will join the District 99 Orchestra and the Combined Choirs from South High School on
Thursday, December 12th, 2013 at 7:00 PM in the Large Gym at South High School. In addition to seasonal favorites, the bands will perform Robert Lo Presti's
Elegy for a Young American in commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the assassination of John F. Kennedy.
