What could be better than four jazz ensembles from District 99 followed by the renowned NIU Jazz Ensemble directed by Ron Carter? Having guest artist Lew Tabackin perform with the NIU band and clinic the student musicians during the day. Lew's incomparable musicianship was apparent on both tenor saxophone and flute tonight.
