Congratulations to the student musicians from the O'Neill Middle School Senator Band, Christine Kaminski, conductor, and the Jefferson Junior High School Symphonic Winds, Keith Carlson, conductor, for their performances at the 2018 DGS Wind Ensemble Invitational. Both groups played challenging repertoire with sonic and artistic maturity.
The DGS Wind Ensemble performed works by Mackey, Ticheli, Su Koh, and concluded the evening with H. Owen Reed's La Fiesta Mexicana. If the sounds heard in the auditorium this evening are any indication, the sonic future is bright for the Mustang Bands!
