Senior visual artist Claire Pikul has been chosen to participate in a special exhibition of selected National Medalist work from the 2016 Scholastic Art & Writing Awards, and, in the release of the new publication, The Best Teen Writing of 2016.  Claire's photograph titled "Struck," shown above, will be on exhibition in a national gallery.

The special exhibition takes place at the Lyndon Baines Johnson Department of Education Building in Washington, DC.  The exhibition opens on Friday, September 16, 2016.

The opening reception recognizes students whose work will be displayed in a variety of ways, including in an exhibit at the Department of Education and The Best Teen Writing of 2016.

Congratulations to Claire and her mentor teacher, Michelle Lynn, for her continuing recognition on the national level as a visual artist.
