District 99, South High School and DGS Fine Arts extends our hearty congratulations to visual art teacher Michelle Lynn for being selected as the "Outstanding Photographic Arts Educator of the Year" by the Photographic Society of America. Ms.Lynn's students accomplished more in the 2015 PSA Youth Showcase than any school in the history of the Photographic Society of America's Event which dates back to 1997. AP Studio photographers mentored by Ms. Lynn won 3 of the top six awards, including the print of the year. This International Exhibition was viewed by hundreds of Photographers at the 2015 International Conference at West Yellowstone, Montana in September 2015.
Ms. Lynn will be formally honored by the Chicago Chapter of PSA on Sunday, December 13, 2015 at a celebratory dinner at the Marriot in Hoffman Estates
