EXPO CHICAGO, 2015

85 visual art students attend Expo Chicago, the International Exposition of Contemporary and Modern Art on Sept. 18. The exhibit included 140 notable galleries from around the world. Students were able to interact with an electronic wall painting, watched videos of a man taking selfies inside a reproduction of a Van Gogh painting, and view a life size policeman that seemed real. This was among the many other unusual works of 2D, 3D, and installation art on display. Students took part in a scavenger hunt which prompted them to discover the elements of art, talk to artists and gallery directors, draw pictures and gather inspiration. It was quite a memorable event.
