South High School Fine Arts is pleased to welcome John Thomson today as a guest conductor/clinician in the music suite. Mr. Thomson is the retired band director from New Trier High School. Mr. Thomson spent time today with Wind Symphony and Wind Ensemble refining musical concepts in a singularly unique manner. It was great to see the sharing of ideas and the immediate improvement through the ongoing expert feedback that was provided in both rehearsals today.
