2013 Invitational a success!

Congratulations to the students from the Eisenhower Symphonic Band, directed by Matt Janus, and the Lakeview Wind Ensemble, directed by Tom Tedeschi, for stunning performances this evening.  The students performed with characteristic tone beyond their chronological years, and, with musicianship that left the audience breathless.  Following these two fine ensemble, the South High School Wind Ensemble performed challenging repertoire, including the Holst Second Suite in F for Military Band, with poise and precision.  Based on the sounds heard tonight, the sonic future is bright for the Mustang Bands.  We anticipate seeing and hearing many of these future Mustang musicians on the stage in the near future!
