What an amazing experience! The 2021 DGS Winter Fine Arts Festival was a wonderful success! Thank you to all in attendance and to all who helped make this monumental event possible.  Season's Greetings to all!

DGS Art Students Featured in 99 Seconds!

Our DGS Art students were recently featured in the publication, 99 Seconds. This short featurette highlights the mural they created as a part of our revitalization of the Fine Arts Department.

DGS Choir Students Giving Back to the Community

Thank you to our music students for giving back to the community. Choir has been busy this week. In addition to preparing for tomorrow's Fine Arts Festival, they performed for the Kiwanis Club at Emmett's Downtown on Tuesday. Tonight, 43 students in 3 groups sang for Kensington International at the Hinsdale Golf Club for a charity event. Bravo DGS choir students!

A stellar DGS Theatre performance of the Rose and the Rime!

That's a wrap! The Rose and the Rime was an incredible experience full of laughter and  suspense. The DGS Studio Theatre was packed for all three shows. Congratulations to these very talented students, Mrs. Rubin and Mr. Haywood, and everyone that made this great production happen!

  

Fine Arts Festival and Poinsettia Fundraiser is Almost Here!

The DGS Fine Arts Department thanks all of you for your support ahead of our Fine Arts Festival on Thursday December 9th. We have just about sold out the Performing Arts Center!

*** VERY important*** If you have not had a chance to show your support for this event by taking part in our Poinsettia Fundraiser, there is still time. You can place your orders by following these simple steps:

1. Use this LINK https://csd99.revtrak.net/band-boosters/dgs-band-boosters/ to access the DGS Band Boosters webstore. You can also access it through the District 99 Webstore home page. Click on the DGS Band Boosters from there.

2. Complete the form, double checking to make sure that all information is accurate.

3. List the amount that you are paying in the space provided. Each poinsettia is $15 advanced purchase ($20 on the night of the concert)

4. List student name (if applicable) as well as the items you are purchasing (ex. 1 Poinsettia)

5. Click 'Add to Cart'

6. Follow the site as it leads you through the payment information.

7. Done!

All purchased poinsettias will benefit the DGS Fine Arts Department. They will adorn the Performing Arts Center and Learning Commons on December 9th and be made available for pickup at the conclusion of the festivities.
