Homecoming Friday Part 3 - Friday Night Lights #99Learns #DGSPride

DGS Fine Arts and your Marching Mustangs continued the sonic school spirit on Friday evening before the game, during the game, and with a stunning presentation during halftime.  Thanks to all the staff and parent volunteers who support our student musicians during all of our Friday night home games.  All day, and every day, it was a great day to be a Mustang!

Great job at the assembly by the Jazz Ensemble and Madrigal Singers!  Your Marching Mustangs closed the 2019 Homecoming Parade with a sonic bang!  Special kudos to our partner schools Lakeview Junior High School and Eisenhower Junior High School for providing such wonderful sonic spirit during the parade this afternoon.

Great job Marching Mustangs starting the Homecoming Friday festivities with marching through the halls and what will be the final "Bagels with the Band" in the courtyard.  So far, it is a great day to be a Mustang!

Marching Mustangs at the VJ Andrew HS Invitational #99Learns #DGSPride

Congratulations to the students, staff and parent volunteers affiliated with the Marching Mustangs for their performance at the 2019 Victor J. Andrew Marching Band Invitational.  In a highly competitive field of 21 ensembles, your Marching Mustangs continued their upward performance trajectory by finishing in 3rd place with a score of 68.6.  This is the first time that your Marching Mustangs have been medalists at the VJA Invitational.  Well done Marching Mustangs!
